My heart aches whenever I look upon the city below. This world is far too fragile, and our enemies far too powerful. So resort to whatever methods necessary, and sink to whatever depths you wish. Do what you must to protect this city—I'll shoulder the blame.

This spreading contamination, designated the "Nectar of Ruin," is a national crisis. But we must remain calm in our approach. Do not despair, for our ever-reliable Anathemas are at hand. Besides, living on the verge of annihilation is nothing new for us Babelonians.
